Chapter 18 Integrity Virtual Machines (HPVM)

To enable migration the source and destination hosts must be configured symmetrically. That is,
all the network and storage resources must be configured the same on both hosts. A symmetric
configuration includes:
A common local area network (LAN)
Identical network interfaces configuration
Storage Area Network (SAN) based boot disks
Identical Fibre Chanel port configurations
Refer to LAN/SAN Configuration Considerations for additional details.
Performing a Guest Migration
Set up SSH keys on both the source and the destination hosts, as described in
Security Considerations.
Stop the guest on the source host, using the hpvmstop or hpvmconsole command.
On the source host, enter the hpvmmigrate command.
