HP-UX 11iv2/v3 Support for iLO/vMedia and USB Devices (April 2010)

HP-UX does not currently support the vFlash or vFloppy functionality over iLO/vMedia.
USB-OO version C limitations
The USB-OO driver version C does not support the virtual keyboard, video, and mouse (vKVM) iLO
functionality. To enable this functionality using 11iv2, install version D of the driver and
PHKL_39269. To enable this functionality using 11iv3, install version D of the driver and
PHKL_39820.
HP-UX 11iv3 OE Update for September 2007 Note
When using HP-UX 11iv3 OE Update for September 2007 for HP-UX operating system installation
over iLO/vMedia, the installation may halt after the install kernel has booted and display the
message:
WARNING: Could not find source device in ioscan output. You must select
from the list of devices below to use for the source device:
You will see a list of devices, followed by the message:
Enter the index corresponding to the device to use as the installation
source, 'r' to rescan, or 'q' to reboot:
If a device with the description “USB_SCSI_Stack_Adaptor” is listed, select that index to proceed.
If such a device is not listed, enter “r” in order to perform a rescan. That will print out an updated list
of devices. In that updated list, you should see a device with the description
USB_SCSI_Stack_Adaptor”. Select that index to proceed with installation.
