5. List of other applications that require manual legacy DSF/hardware path input during execution.
This list contains names of any applications that require users to input legacy parameters, such as a
database application which needs a user to enter legacy information.

7. Location of other saved files
This list is for verification and recovery.
a. The ioscan output will help to determine what has changed in the system configuration.
b. The files in /dev/dsk/, /dev/rdsk/, and /dev/rmt directories represent the legacy DSFs.
IMPORTANT: Save these files before running rmsf –L because this command removes the legacy
configuration from the system. The saved files will serve as a record.
