Installing the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack
To store and manage publickey in an LDAP directory server on HP-UX 11i v2, you must
install the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack bundle, ENHKEY, along with the LDAP-UX Integration
product version B.04.00 or later on your client systems.
Installation Procedures
Perform the following steps to install the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack bundle, ENHKEY:
Step 1. Go to the following HP Software Deport web site:
http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot
Select the Enhancement releases and patch bundles link.
Step 2. Select HP-UX Software Pack (Optional HP-UX 11i v2 Core Enhancements).
Step 3. Select the HP-UX Public Key LDAP link
Step 4. Download the software bundle depot, ENHKEY B.11.23.01 HP-UX B.11.23 IA+PA
.depot, and place it on your client system, /tmp is assumed.
Step 5. Use swinstall to install the ENHKEY bundle:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x reinstall=false -s
/tmp/ENHKEY_B.11.23.01_HP-UX_B.11.23_IA_PA.depot
The reinstall=false option is required because one of the patches bundled with the
ENHKEY bundle does not support reinstallation.
NOTE The ONC product contains a kernel product. Thus installing the product will
cause the system to reboot after the installation is complete.
NOTE This software pack must be installed on the HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004
release or later.
The ENHKEY software bundle contains PHKL_31500 (September 2004 Base
patch) which cannot be removed as it would create an unsupported HP-UX.
