Updating the Software from an Older Version
If you have an older version of the HyperFabric software, you can update it by installing the
latest version of HyperFabric (B.11.11.05.01 and B.11.11.05.02 for HP-UX 11i v1 or B.11.23.03.01
for HP-UX 11iv2) over the old one. You do not have to un-install the old version first, unless you
are updating from version B.11.00.11 to the latest version (see “Known Problems and
Workarounds” (page 8)).
NOTE: To make use of the Transparent Local Failover feature available in this version, you
need to configure the HF2 adapters as card pairs using the clic_init command or SAM. For
more information, see Installing and Administering HyperFabric Guide (Part Number: B6257-90052).
