Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Introduction

Troubleshooting Fibre Channel problems can involve a variety of hardware and software components. A

problem affecting the system may originate in another part of the Fibre Channel Mass Storage interconnect.

If you cannot solve the problem on your own, contact your HP representative.

Combination Cards

The Fibre Channel component of the HP A9782A, A9784A, and AB465A Fibre Channel-Ethernet combination

cards use the same driver (FibrChanl-01) as the HP A6826A Fibre Channel adapter. The information that

pertains to the A6826A Fibre Channel adapter also applies to the Fibre Channel component of the A9782A

and A9784A Fibre Channel-Ethernet combination cards.
