EISA Token Ring Release Notes for HP-UX 11.0

4500 MTU size, the network may hang.

The maximum MTU size for EISA Token Ring has been increased to 4500. The default

MTU is now set to 4170. The user may increase this up to 4500 using the lanadmin

command, if desired.

• SAM gives an error when conﬁguring the EISA Token Ring card.

The initialization script has been modiﬁed to use the correct syntax for the shell command.

• The “swverify(1M)” command will try to verify control scripts such as

“conﬁgure”, “verify”, “postinstall” and “checkinstall” for ownership and

permissions. Since these are control scripts, “swverify(1M)” should not perform

this check on them.

This defect has been ﬁxed.
