This problem is fixed by correcting cache flush/purge size. • EISA Token Ring fails to detect a cable disconnect. The driver code is not sending linkdown and linkup events during cable disconnect/ reconnect.
EISA Token Ring Release Notes for HP-UX 11.0 Patches and Fixes for this Version (B.11.00.07) 4500 MTU size, the network may hang. The maximum MTU size for EISA Token Ring has been increased to 4500. The default MTU is now set to 4170. The user may increase this up to 4500 using the lanadmin command, if desired. • SAM gives an error when configuring the EISA Token Ring card. The initialization script has been modified to use the correct syntax for the shell command.
