Figure 1 shows the PRM group definitions and either their CPU resource shares for FSS PRM groups or
allocation of cores for pSet PRM groups.

The Mktg and OTHERS PRM groups are FSS PRM groups because they have a shares allocation. The
Sales and Support PRM groups are pSet PRM groups because they have their number of cores
specified. Each group’s CPU resource percentage is based on the total system CPU resources.
Figure 2 shows the memory configuration.

Each PRM group has a shares allocation for private memory. This allocation is based on the total
system memory available. None of the groups has memory isolation enabled. Thus, they can borrow
or lend memory resources from each other.
