7. Select download selected. Follow the instructions to
download the August 2004 version of BUNDLE11i to your
system.
Please note that the patches in the August 2004 version of
BUNDLE11i provide a fix for link failures that could potentially
be seen when trying to generate a new kernel. HP recommends
the install of the August 2004 version of BUNDLE11i as follows:
1. Use this swinstall command to load BUNDLE11i from the
DVD. In this example, the DVD is mounted at
/dvd_mount_point.
swinstall -s /dvd_mount_point/BUNDLE11i -x \
patch_match_target=true -x autoreboot=true
2. If BUNDLE11i installs successfully, you are done. If you
encounter a link failure, use the following swinstall
command to attempt to load the bundle.
swinstall -s /dvd_mount_point/BUNDLE11i -x \
autoreboot=true -x reinstall=true BUNDLE11i
3. The swinstall command in step 2 can be repeated if a link
failure continues to occur, until the installation is successful.
