Do Not Use HP-UX Bootloader ls Command
The HP-UX bootloader on the installation media has a known
problem with the built-in ls command. This command is similar
to the HP-UX ls command, but it is not the same as the HP-UX
ls command that you would normally use after HP-UX is
installed.
The bootloader's built-in ls command will not work if executed
with no arguments or if it is executed to display information for a
file that is not present on the media.
What To Do
HP recommends that customers do not use the bootloader's built-
in ls command when installing HP-UX.
