Ramdisk Release Notes for HP-UX 11i v2
-s Specifies the size of the Ramdisk volume
To delete a Ramdisk instance, enter the following command at the HP-UX command
prompt:
$ ramutil -d -v volume_number
Where:
-d Deletes a Ramdisk volume
-v Associates a volume number with the Ramdisk

Obtaining Configuration Details
To obtain the Ramdisk configuration details, enter the following command at the HP-UX
command prompt:
#diskinfo /dev/rdsk/ram12
SCSI describe of /dev/rdsk/ram12:
vendor: HP
product id: RAM_DISK
type: direct access
size: 2097152 Kbytes
bytes per sector: 1024
or
#ioscan -fknH /255

NOTE: A Ramdisk can be configured from the SAM application on an HP-UX 11i v2
system using the patch PHCO_36563. A Ramdisk configuration is similar to the normal
disk configuration. For more information about viewing the details of disk configuration
