Feature Enablement Patch Bundle (Feature11i)
The Feature Enablement Patch Bundle (FEATURE11i) consists of required patches that
meet dependencies for new or updated software products. This patch bundle is updated
as needed with new patches for support of software products.
Summary of Change
The FEATURE11i bundle is delivered for the first time in the May 2005 release of HP-UX
11i v2. The May 2005 FEATURE11i bundle consists of patches required for HP-UX Virtual
Partitions (vPars) functionality, USB-00, and future products with new features.

Impact
The patches in this bundle have undergone more testing and have received greater
exposure than most patches downloaded individually from the HP Patch Hub. All
dependencies for patches in this bundle have been resolved.
With the patches provided by the FEATURE11i bundle, you can now run the vPars
product on both HP Integrity (Itanium-based) and HP 9000 (PA-RISC) systems.
Compatibility
If you choose to load only the May 2005 version of this patch bundle, without doing a
complete update to the May 2005 version of HP-UX 11i v2, you must first load the
September 2004 version of HP-UX 11i v2.
Performance
There are no known performance issues.
