HP-UX Host Intrusion Detection System
HP-UX Host Intrusion Detection System (HIDS) version 2.2, product number J5083AA,
provides continuous and near real-time surveillance for HP-UX servers to help identify
potential malicious activities on the host.
Summary of Change
As a maintenance release for March 2004, HIDS v2.2 has been updated to include a
defect fix for the detection of logins.

future obsolescence.

HP-UX IPFilter (B9901AA) version A.03.05.06 is a statefull system firewall that filters
IP packets to control packet flow in or out of a machine. It works as a security defense by
cutting down on the number of exposure points on a machine.
