Update-UX

Chapter 5

• /stand/backup: contains the latest updated configuration and any changes that you

have made since rebooting your system.

• /stand/backup_prior_to_update: contains your configuration saved prior to

updating to the latest release of HP-UX 11i v2.

Impact

You now have the flexibility to “deselect” bundles listed in the update-ux.selections

file by replacing it with your own selections file. In addition, two backup kernel

configurations are now available to you.
