EnableVxFS Bundle
The EnableVxFS bundle contains command enhancements and filesystem libraries for
the VERITAS File System. (For information about changes to the VERITAS File System,
see “VERITAS File System (Base-VXFS and HP OnlineJFS)” on page 128.)
Summary of Change
EnableVxFS is now a customer-selectable product in the June 2006 release of HP-UX 11i
v2.
Impact
Formerly, the EnableVxFS bundle was always-installed. It is now customer-selectable.

There are no known compatibility issues.

VERITAS File System (Base-VXFS and HP OnlineJFS)
The VERITAS File System (Base-VXFS and HP OnlineJFS) is an extent-based journaled
file system offering fast file system recovery time (after a crash) and online features such
as online backup, online resizing, and online reorganization.
