Installing or Removing
MirrorDisk/UX
(B2491BA or B5403BA)
If you choose to install or remove MirrorDisk/UX as a
stand-alone product, you must reinstall the latest LVM
commands patch present on your system. The LVM
commands patch may be PHCO_31709 or a superseded patch.
If you do not reinstall the LVM commands patch, the
following two problems may occur:
First, the following error message may appear in your
swverify.log:
* [140112] Checking files for fileset
"PHCO_31709.LVM-RUN,l=/,r=1.0".
ERROR: [40263] File "/sbin/lvchange" should have
mtime "1089446778" but the actual mtime is
"1062572400".
ERROR: [40265] File "/sbin/lvchange" should have
size "1759044" bytes but the actual size is
"1808628" bytes.
ERROR: [40263] File "/usr/sbin/lvchange" should
have mtime "1089446783" but the actual
mtime is "1062572400".
ERROR: [40265] File "/usr/sbin/lvchange" should
have size "1110444" bytes but the actual
size is "1138004" bytes.
ERROR: [140113] Fileset
"PHCO_31709.LVM-RUN,l=/,r=1.0" had file
errors.
Second, the LVM commands on the system will not be the
newest ones (the ones delivered by the last LVM commands
patch installed).
You must reinstall the LVM commands patch present on your
system or a later one. If you remove the MirrorDisk/UX
product from the system, the LVM commands patch must be
installed with the option -x reinstall=true
You can find the LVM commands patch PHCO_31709 or a
superseding patch in BUNDLE11i located on the HP-UX 11i v2
OE media September 2004 or later, or on the IT Resource
Center Web site at: http://itrc.hp.com
