last_install
configuration already
exists Warning
During an update to HP-UX 11i v2, the following warning
may appear in your swagent.log:
WARNING: The configuration named 'last_install'
already exists.
NOTE: Continuing since -f flag was specified.
* Please wait: flushing kernel registry database to
disk.
* The current configuration has been saved to
'last_install'.
* The title of the configuration 'last_install' has
been set to "Created by last OS install".
This problem is caused by the kernel configuration tools
attempting to save a copy of the newly updated system
configuration to /stand/last_install. Because a previous
version of the configuration already exists from the previous
install or update, a warning is issued.
You can safely ignore this warning. The kernel configuration
tools overwrite the previous configuration with the latest
version, as expected.
