Updating to HP-UX 11i v2
Before You Begin

CAUTION Requirement for Updating from HP-UX 11i v 1.6 (B.11.22)
If you are updating from HP-UX 11i v1.6, you must install the August
2004 version of BUNDLE11i for HP-UX 11i v1.6 on your system prior to
updating to the HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004 or later release. If the
August 2004 version of BUNDLE11i is not installed on your system prior
to the update, the update will not complete successfully. If you have a
support contract with HP, you should have already received this patch
bundle. Alternatively, you can acquire the August 2004 version of
BUNDLE11i from the IT Resource Center web site; it will provide you
with all required patches:

CAUTION Requirement for Updating from Earlier Releases of HP-UX 11i v2
(Itanium-based systems only)
If you are updating from earlier releases of HP-UX 11i v2 (prior to
September 2004) to the HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004 or later release,
you must first install the August 2004 version of BUNDLE11i. If the
August 2004 version of BUNDLE11i is not installed on your system prior
to the update, the update will not complete successfully. If you have a
support contract with HP, you should have already received the August
2004 version of BUNDLE11i. Alternatively, you can acquire the August
2004 version of BUNDLE11i from the IT Resource Center web site; it
