Standard HP-UX Bundle Considerations
Overview Standard HP-UX bundles supply diagnostics and patches for HP-UX core
files, applications, and diagnostic products. These bundles enable new
hardware and fix known defects, and provide diagnostics tools. In some
cases, a patch may deliver new software functionality.
All bundle software is cumulative and replaces completely any previous
bundle release for the same operating system (OS) release.
The core media includes bundles that contain the following software:

Support Tool Manager (STM) for

Hardware Enablement
(HWEnable11i) patch bundle is
required for new systems and
add-on hardware. It enables new
systems and supported hardware
products, including I/O adapters
and devices.

Applications Quality Pack

(QPKAPPS) patch bundle has all
stable, defect-fix patches for the
OE applications.
