HP OpenView GlancePlus Pak
HP OpenView GlancePlus Pak, version 4.70, integrates the HP OpenView GlancePlus and HP
OpenView Performance Agent for HP-UX (OVPA) products into a single tool to help you better
manage the performance and availability of their servers.
Summary of Change
This release of HP Performance Agent has the following features:
A set of new metrics are added. For a list of enhancements and new metrics added in this release,
refer to the Release Notes of each product (HP GlancePlus/HP Performance Agent) in
/opt/perf/ReleaseNotes/, or at the following website:
http://ovweb.external.hp.com/lpe/doc_serv/
This release of HP GlancePlus has the following features:
• Supported on HP-UX 11i v1, 11i v2, and 11i v3
• gpm has been renamed as xglance. gpm is retained for backward compatibility.
In this version the name HP OpenView Performance Agent is changed to HP Performance Agent and
the name HP OpenView Operations is changed to HP Operations Manager.
NOTE: The new product name change is applicable to version 4.70 and later. Any references
to earlier versions of HP Performance Manager will still have the name HP OpenView Performance
Manager.
