HP MPI
HP MPI Version 2.1.1 is a high-performance implementation of the Message Passing
Interface (MPI) standard. HP MPI complies fully with the 1.2 standard and provides full
MPI-2 functionality. HP MPI provides an application programming interface and
software libraries to support parallel, message passing applications that are efficient,
portable, and flexible.
Summary of Change
HP MPI has been updated to version 2.1.1 with the following enhancements:
• Interconnects supported include:
— InfiniBand on Itanium-based systems
—HyperFabric2
—TCP/IP on clusters
• Improved gather performance for TCP/IP
• Improved alltoall performance
• Improved ssh support
• Improved socket progression for TCP/IP communication
