Ignite-UX
The Ignite-UX product is an HP-UX administration toolset that helps you do the
following:
• install HP-UX 11.0, 11i v1 (B.11.11) and v2 (B.11.23) on multiple PA-RISC and/or
Itanium-based clients on your network;
• create custom install configurations, or golden images, for use in multiple
installations on clients;
• recover HP-UX clients remotely;
• create custom recovery media including tape, CD and DVD;
• manage and monitor multiple client installation sessions.
NOTE The December 2005 HP-UX 11i v2 Operating Environments DVD does not contain the
Ignite-UX product. You can install the latest version of Ignite-UX from the HP-UX 11i v2
Applications Software DVD included in the HP-UX 11i v2 media kit.
Summary of Change
Ignite-UX version C.6.5.x delivers the following:
• Defect fixes (for details, see the Ignite-UX product Web site at
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/IUX/)
• Support for new hardware enabled by the release
• Support for VxVM 4.1
NOTE The support of HP-UX 11i v1.6 (B.11.22) has been discontinued as of Ignite-UX version
C.6.5.x.
