HP-UX WBEM SCSI Provider
HP-UX WBEM SCSI Provider (SCSIProvider) is used by client applications to
determine information about SCSI HBAs present on the system.With this component,
you can retrieve details about the various attributes of HBAs, such as the maximum
number of targets controlled, maximum bus width, and so on.
The SCSI Provider is only used through a WBEM interface. It is not invoked directly by
the user. It is a read-only provider.
Summary of Change
Starting with the December 2005 release, HP-UX WBEM SCSI Provider version
11.23.001 is included in HP-UX 11i v2.
Impact
You can use WBEM-based clients, such as HP Systems Insight Manager,

to retrieve
details about the various attributes of HBAs.
