Compatibility
There are known compatibility issues related to using the Partition Manager interface to
the HP-UX Peripheral Device Tool (pdweb). See “Partition Manager” on page 111.
Performance
There are no known performance issues.
Documentation
The waconf (1M) manpage has been removed. The pdweb online help has been updated
accordingly.
Obsolescence
The waconf (1M) command and the WEB-ADM fileset now obsolete.
HP-UX WBEM Fibre Channel Provider
HP-UX WBEM Fibre Channel Provider is the HP WBEM Services for HP-UX

provider
for Fibre Channel HBAs and ports on the system. Client applications use this component
to determine information about HBAs, such as port properties, HBA parameters and
others.
The Fibre Channel Provider is only used through a WBEM interface. It is not invoked
directly by the user. It is a read-only provider.
Summary of Change
Starting with the December 2005 release, HP-UX WBEM Fibre Channel Provider
version 11.23.0512.02 is available on HP-UX 11i v2.
Impact
You can use WBEM-based clients, such as HP Systems Insight Manager,

to access
information about Fibre Channel HBAs and ports on your system.
Compatibility
There are no known compatibility issues.
