nPartition Provider
The nPartition Provider, version B.23.01.05.01, is the HP-UX WBEM Services provider
for nPartition-related information on partitionable systems. This product is used by
Partition Manager and the partition commands to configure and manage HP systems
that support nPartitions. With this component, partitionable systems can be managed
both locally and remotely. The nPartition Provider is only used through a WBEM
interface. It is not invoked directly by the user.
Summary of Change
This release of the nPartition Provider adds support for new cell-based HP servers.
The following features have been added (for details refer to the nPartition Provider data
sheet):
• GSMSharing and GSMSharingType properties have been added to the
HP_NParComplex class for configuring Global Shared memory (GSM) on servers that
support GSM.
• GSMSupportCapable property was added to the HP_NParCell class.
• MultithreadingEnabled property was added to the HP_NParPartition class and
the MultithreadCapable property was added to the HP_NParCell class.
