The Support Pack diagnostics software consists of the following product
bundles:
• OnlineDiag bundle (Online Diagnostics)
• SysFaultMgmt bundle (System Fault Management)
Online Diagnostics The Online Diagnostics product delivers the following
tools:
• EMS Hardware Monitors — enable you to monitor the operation of a
wide variety of hardware products and be alerted of failure or any
unusual activities.
• Support Tools Manager (STM) — provides a set of online support tools,
enabling you to verify and troubleshoot system hardware, and to
examine system logs.
Online Diagnostics version B.11.23.11.05 is delivered in this release.
System Fault Management System Fault Management (SFM) is a collection
of tools used to monitor the health of HP servers and receive information
about hardware such as memory, CPU, power supplies, and cooling devices.
SFM operates in the Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM)
environment.
System Fault Management version B.06.00.04.01 is delivered in this release.
Installing the Diagnostics Products from the Support Pack DVD
After mounting the Support Pack DVD (see “Mounting the Support Pack
DVD” (page 9)), execute following command line to install these products
from the media. These swinstall options may reboot the system after
installation of the selected products. However, systems with required patches
already installed won't reboot.
