HP OnlineJFS 3.5 Factory Ignited on HP-UX 11i v2

March 2006 EOE and MCOE Media

If you ordered a factory ignited system with either the HP-UX

11i v2 March 2006 Enterprise OE or Mission Critical OE your

system will come with the HP OnlineJFS 3.5 product

pre-installed.

What to Do

If you wish to install the HP OnlineJFS 4.1 product on your

system, use the swinstall command to install it from the

HPUX 11i v2 OE media. The part numbers for the March 2006

EOE and MCOE media are listed below:

• HP-UX 11i v2 EOE DVDs (2-DVD set) part numbers are

5013-4904 and 5013-4905

• HP-UX 11i v2 MCOE DVDs (2-DVD set) part numbers are

5013-4906 and 5013-4907

When installing HP OnlineJFS from media you have the choice

of selecting either version 3.5 or version 4.1. The product number

for each version is listed below for reference:

• HP OnlineJFS 3.5 is product number B3929DA

• HP OnlineJFS 4.1 is product number B3929EA
