Error Messages During
Update
If you choose to update from the September 2004 HP-UX
11i v2 EMS product to the HP-UX 11i v2 June 2006 EMS
product instead of updating to a full HP-UX 11i v2 June
2006 Operating Environment the following errors may be
displayed:
NOTE: KILLMON ERROR: could not find a dictionary
file containing the NOTE: monitor name
'/storage/events/disk_arrays/AutoRAID'.
NOTE: KILLMON ERROR: could not find a dictionary
file containing the NOTE: monitor name
'/system/events/cpu/cmc/cache_errors'.
What To Do
You can safely ignore this message. (You can avoid these
errors if you update the ISEEPlatform product before you
update the EMS product.)
VMProvider and
VMGuestlib Bundles
Installed with Integrity
Virtual Machines
If you installed the Integrity Virtual Machines product, you
have already received the VMProvider and VMGuestlib
bundles.
Therefore, you will receive an error from Software
Distributor if you attempt to install earlier versions of those
bundles found with HP-UX. You should use the bundles
that are distributed with the current version of Integrity
Virtual Machines.
What To Do
Do not force the installation.
Partition Manager Issue
with HP SIM 5.x
Releases of the Partition Manager product prior to HP-UX
11i v2 May 2005 and HP-UX 11i v1 September 2005 do not
work with HP System Insight Manager 5.x.
What To Do
You must upgrade to either the HP-UX 11i v2 May 2005 or
the HP-UX 11i v1 September 2005 version of Partition
Manager.
