Integrated Virtual Partition Environment (HP-UX 11i v2 Only) With version 7, coupled with the use of virtual partition software (vPars) version A.04.01 or greater, you can use the Instant Capacity software in an integrated virtual partitioned environment.

The fgrep command may not be available during the installation of Instant Capacity, so these two scripts now use grep -F. • Clarification was added to the icod_modify manpage, with respect to the “-t” option.

This is due to contention for system resources from the various partitions in the complex. If these messages are received, retry the Instant Capacity operation.

You must maintain the Instant Capacity software until all program requirements are fulfilled and the system is no longer considered an Instant Capacity system.

Before you can use these components, they must be licensed from HP. Instant Capacity versions B.07.x manage the licensing of Instant Capacity components through the use of license codewords.
