crashconf /dev/dsk/c42t0d4
Time T1: The path /dev/dsk/c42t0d4 fails
Time T2: The Secure Path Active-Active monitor cycle (default, 10 minute interval) is met.
The dump device is automatically configured through an alternate active path,
/dev/dsk/c10t0d2, if available.
NOTE The dump will fail if a crash occurs between time intervals T1 and T2. A dump
performed after T2 will use the alternate active path /dev/dsk/c10t0d2.
Time T3: Display the actual paths to the dump device:
# crashconf -l
The crash dump configuration has been changed since boot. The following output is displayed:
