To install DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609 from the software depot, complete the

following steps:

Step 1. Go to the HP Software Depot at: http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot

Step 2. Select Enhancement Releases.

Step 3. Select HP-UX Software Pack.

Step 4. Locate and select DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609.

Step 5. Select Installation at the bottom of the page, and follow the instructions to

install DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609.

Installing DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609 from the Media

To install DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609 from the media, complete the following

steps:

Step 1. Login as superuser.

Step 2. Mount the CD drive to a location of your choice as in the following example:

The CD drive device file can be found out by using the ioscan -fnC disk command:

# mount -r /dev/dsk/c1t2d0 /cdrom

Step 3. Enter the following command at the HP-UX prompt:

# swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s DUMPAAEnable

NOTE Since DUMPAAEnable Version B.11.23.0609 includes a set of kernel

patches, the autoreboot flag must be set. The system will reboot

after installation.
