Logging options
logging The rdtcmodifyconfs command supports the following logging options:
-a Appends the log messages from this rdtcmodifyconfs execution to the
existing rdtcmodifyconfs log file.
By default, executing rdtcmodifyconfs means that the existing log file is
overwritten. The default log file is:
rdtcmodifyconfs.log.
-L logfile Specifies an alternative file that rdtcmodifyconfs should use to log status
and error messages. The default file is:
/usr/tftpdir/rdtcmgr/rdtcmodifyconfs.log in HP-UX 9.X
/var/opt/rdtcmgr/rdtcmodifyconfs.log in HP-UX 10.X.
Controlling verbosity
-q Turns off the display informational messages during the task. This is the quiet
option and is useful if several or many DTCs are being pasted or modified and you
do not want to see messages for all the DTCs.
Using the script options
You can use the script options to specify parameters to be modified. There are two
forms of scripts:
Command-line scripts: specify modifications at the command line
Script files: contain parameters that define the modifications
Note LAN boards or ports can be selected as dtcobjects for use with the script options.
