System Requirements
This section lists the resources needed and the software requirements for installing and
running TOUR 2.4 on the HP-UX 11i v1 operating system.
Supported Operating System
TOUR 2.4 is supported on 32-bit or 64-bit HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11) PA-RISC servers.
Minimum System Resources
TOUR 2.4 requires the following minimum amount of system resources:
• The TOUR 2.4 depot file is ~4.5 MB. Therefore, ensure that your system has the required
amount of free disk space.
• The disk space used by installing TOUR 2.4 is ~7.5 MB, which is allocated as follows:
❏ The /usr directory: ~ 7 MB
❏ The /var directory: ~.5 MB
❏ The /stand directory (a new kernel is built)
Decrease disk usage if not interested in Mobile IPv6: If you are not interested in
using the Mobile IPv6 product in TOUR 2.4, note that when you are installing TOUR 2.4,
the Mobile IPv6 product is optional and may be deselected in an interactive swinstall
session. This will lessen the /usr disk space usage by ~.5 MB.
NOTE The disk space information listed in this section does not include the disk
space requirements for prerequisite patches. Refer to the bdf manpage for
more information on determining disk space.
