Known Problems and Limitations

• Boot the system from the appropriate disk (depending on your boot disk configuration, in
this example, P0 is the appropriate disk) as follows:
Main Menu: Enter command of menu> BOOT P0

• Specify the previous kernel as follows:
ISL> hpux disk() /stand/vmunix.prev
• Remove TOUR 2.4 from the system. Refer to “Removing TOUR 2.4” on page 14.
• Reboot the system.
This will prevent the system panic. TOUR 2.4 can be installed after removing the
PHNE_33159 and PHNE_31091 patches from the system and verifying that the minimum
patch requirements have been met. Refer to the “Prerequisite Software Patches” on page 7 for
the minimum patch requirements.
Limitations
The following limitations exist for TOUR 2.4 components on the HP-UX 11i v1 operating
system.
IPv6 Transport Limitations
The limitations of IPv6 included in HP-UX 11i v1 TOUR 2.4 are as follows:
• Multihomed Host Limitation
A host cannot identify the interface through which it has to send packets due to the
following reasons:
— A host has multiple physical network interfaces.
