Removing TOUR 2.4

This section describes how to remove or uninstall TOUR 2.4 from an HP-UX 11i v1 system.

If you want to remove TOUR 2.4, be aware of the following:

• The save area under the /usr/contrib/TOUR/save_area directory must be intact.

• If you remove TOUR 2.4, the system is not reverted to a previous version of HP-UX 11i v1

IPv6 product, such as TOUR 2.2, TOUR 2.0, TOUR 1.0, or IPv6NCF11i, if you had

installed any. If you remove TOUR 2.4, the base (default) HP-UX 11i v1 transport

software is restored.

To remove TOUR 2.4, compete the following steps:

Step 1. Run the following swremove command at the HP-UX prompt and specify the TOUR

product:

# swremove -x autoreboot=true TOUR

Step 2. Run the following swlist command at the HP-UX prompt to verify whether the

removal was successful:

# swlist -l product TOUR

The TOUR product will not be displayed. This indicates that TOUR 2.4 has been

successfully uninstalled.
