Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.4 Release Notes

Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.4 Release Notes
Installing TOUR 2.4
11
The target selection specified in the swinstall example is “TOUR” and not
“TOUR2.4” because the TOUR 2.4 product bundle name is “TOUR”. The product
bundle version reflects the version change from 2.2 to 2.4.
The TOUR 2.4 bundle contains three products: TOUR_PRODUCT, IPV6AA, and
MobileIPv6. By default, all these three products are selected to install. You can
choose not to install Mobile IPv6 and IPV6AA. However, IPv6AA is a prerequisite
for installing Mobile IPv6 and for the PPPoE/v6 functionality to function properly.
The system reboots automatically if the swinstall execution completes without
any error. If the swinstall command does not execute successfully, swinstall
displays the relevant error message and exists without installing TOUR 2.4.
NOTE To minimize the number of required reboots, you can combine patch
requirements (patch depot files) and the TOUR 2.4 software (depot file) into a
combined depot using the swcopy utility. For more information on swcopy, type
man 1M swcopy at the HP-UX prompt.
