Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.2 Release Notes
Installing TOUR 2.2
9
Notice that, the target selection specified in the swinstall example is “TOUR” and
not “TOUR2.2”, since the TOUR 2.2 product bundle name is “TOUR”. The product
bundle version reflects the version change from 2.0 to 2.2.
The TOUR 2.2 bundle contains three products: TOUR_PRODUCT, IPV6AA, and
MobileIPv6. By default, these all three products are selected to install. The
MobileIPv6 and IPV6AA products are optional and may be deselected. Be aware
that the IPv6AA product is required for the MobileIPv6 product to install and for
the PPPoE/v6 functionality, which is included in the TOUR_PRODUCT, to function
properly.
The system reboots automatically if the swinstall execution completes without
errors.
NOTE To minimize the number of required reboots, you may want to combine patch
requirements (patch depot files) and TOUR 2.2 software (depot file) into one
combined depot using the swcopy utility. Refer to the swcopy(1M) man page for
more information.
