Installing TOUR 2.2

This section includes information on obtaining and installing TOUR 2.2. It includes

information needed before and after the TOUR 2.2 installation.

NOTE TOUR 2.2 is not compatible with some versions of IPSec. Before installing

TOUR 2.2, see “TOUR 2.2 and IPSec” on page 10.

Installation Instructions

To install TOUR 2.2, complete the following steps:

Step 1. Review “System Requirements” on page 6 to ensure your system meets TOUR 2.2

requirements.

Step 2. Acquire the TOUR 2.2 software:

a. Go to the HP Software Depot at http://www.software.hp.com.

b. Search for “Transport Optional Upgrade Release” and read the “Overview” and

“Installation” pages for TOUR 2.2.

c. Select Receive for Free >> option at the bottom right of the page.

d. Choose the appropriate TOUR 2.2 release for your HP-UX Operating System

(“HP-UX 11.11 for Workstations and Servers”.)

e. Enter your registration information, and read and accept the Terms and

Conditions statements.

f. Select Download at the bottom of the page and save the TOUR 2.2 release depot

to a local ﬁle on your system, for example: /tmp/TOUR.depot.

g. Use the swlist -d @ /tmp/TOUR.depot command to verify the depot ﬁle is on

your system.

Step 3. Use swinstall to install TOUR 2.2 from the location you saved the depot ﬁle to.

For example, run the following:

swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s /tmp/TOUR.depot TOUR
