Removing (Un-installing) TOUR 2.2

This section describes how to remove TOUR 2.2.

If you need to remove TOUR 2.2, be aware of the following:

• The save area under /usr/contrib/TOUR/save_area must be intact (after installing

TOUR 2.2, ﬁles in this directory must not be removed).

• Removing TOUR 2.2 will not back you out to a previous version of HP-UX 11i v1 IPv6

(TOUR 2.0, TOUR 1.0, or IPv6NCF11i) if one had been installed. Removing TOUR 2.2

restores the (default) HP-UX 11i v1 transport software.

To remove (un-install) TOUR 2.2, do the following:

Step 1. Use the swremove command and specify the TOUR product. For example,

swremove -x autoreboot=true TOUR

Step 2. Use the swlist command to verify the removal was successful. For example,

swlist -l product TOUR

The TOUR product will no longer be listed.
