Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.2 Release Notes Announcement Announcement Transport functionality is typically delivered as part of the HP-UX operating system. Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) is an additional, fully supported web release that delivers transport functionality and other networking features independently of major HP-UX releases. Later versions of TOUR completely supersede previous TOUR versions.
Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.2 Release Notes What Is in This Version What Is in This Version TOUR 2.2 includes the following components: • HP-UX Transport Enhancement (IPv4 and IPv6) • HP-UX Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) enhancements (PPPoE and PPPv6) • HP-UX Mobile IPv6 A.01.00 The TOUR 2.0 functionality is automatically included in TOUR 2.2 except where superseded by TOUR 2.2 functional differences.

Supported Operating Systems TOUR 2.2 is supported on 32- or 64-bit HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11) PA-RISC servers. Minimum System Resources for HP-UX 11i v1 HP-UX 11i v1 TOUR 2.2 requires the following minimum amount of system resources: • The TOUR 2.2 depot file is ~4.

You can retrieve patches from http://www.itrc.hp.com. Future versions of Support Plus (Quality Pack) (GOLDQPK11i) may include some of these patches.

It includes information needed before and after the TOUR 2.2 installation. NOTE TOUR 2.2 is not compatible with some versions of IPSec. The product bundle version reflects the version change from 2.0 to 2.2. The TOUR 2.2 bundle contains three products: TOUR_PRODUCT, IPV6AA, and MobileIPv6. By default, these all three products are selected to install.

TOUR 2.2 tunneling configuration must be done by editing the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf-ipv6 file or by using the ifconfig command.
