Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.0 FAQ

It should take less than 10 minutes to install TOUR 2.0 on your HP-UX 11i v1 or HP-UX

11i v2 system. You should allow 5-10 minutes for configuring each network interface card

on the system.

Note: Acquiring and installing required patches may take longer.

15. Can I configure it from SAM and how?

SAM cannot be used to configure TOUR or TOUR components. (including transport

transition mechanisms, HP-UX Mobile IPv6, HP-UX PPP Enhancements).

Note: SAM has been enhanced to support some IPv6 configuration tasks.

Note: To install the product, use swinstall.

16. Under which directories are the product files located?

Commands and libraries at various locations are replaced or added. Examples include:

/usr/bin/netstat

/usr/sbin/ifconfig

/usr/lib/libipv6.sl

17. Are there any compatibility issues with previous releases of this product?

No.

18. Are there interoperatibility issues related to this product?
