Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 2.0 FAQ

- HP-UX servers can act as “6to4” routers that forward traffic between “6to4”
hosts within a “6to4” site, encapsulate IPv6 packets as payload of IPv4 and
forward them to other “6to4” routers and relay routers across an IPv4
infrastructure.. The receiving “6to4” router or relay router will decapsulate and
forward the packet to its final destination.
- Generic IPv6 tunneling support conforming to RFC 2473. IPv6 tunneling allows
encapsulating data packets as payloads of IPv6 packets. The data packets can be
either IPv4 or IPv6 packets.
