Transport Optional Upgrade Release Transition Release Notes

Additional Important Information

If you do not require HP-UX Mobile IPv6, remove HP-UX Mobile IPv6 before installing the

transition patches. Refer to the HP-UX Mobile IPv6 documentation at

http://docs.hp.com/en/netcom.html#Mobile%20IP for details on HP-UX Mobile IPv6.

Transport Transition Patch PHNE_35351 and TOUR - IPv6

This HP-UX cumulative ARPA Transport patch, PHNE_35351, will

remove TOUR and then install. This system has IPV6AA version

B.03.01 already installed. You must either 1) install IPV6AA

version B.04.00 or greater at the same time, or 2) first remove

IPV6AA.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE IPV6AA unless you no longer want IPv6 capability and

need this patch.

Ensure that you combine the IPv6NCF11i product bundle with the transition patches if you

need IPv6 functionality. Or, remove IPv6AA B.03.01 from your system before installing the

transition patches.

Transport Transition Patch PHNE_35351 and TOUR - PPPoE/PPPv6

This HP-UX cumulative ARPA Transport patch, PHNE_35351, will

remove TOUR and then install. This system has TOUR_PRODUCT

already installed which had the PPPoE/PPPv6 upgrade. You must

either 1) install PPP-UPGRADE B.04.00 or greater at the same

time, or 2) first remove TOUR.

Ensure that you combine the PPPoE/PPPv6 B.04.00 product from the IPv6NCF11i product

bundle with the transition patches. Or, remove TOUR from your system before installing the

transition patches.

Installing Transition Patch PHNE_35351

This HP-UX cumulative ARPA Transport patch, PHNE_35351, will

remove TOUR and then install. This system has TOUR (Transport

Optional Upgrade Release) already installed, and this patch

has all the functionality of TOUR, plus additional fixes. If
