Transport Optional Upgrade Release Transition Release Notes

Additional Important Information

You may see one or more of the following message while installing the transition patches

depending on the software installed on your system. This section contains important

information about these errors.

Transport Transition Patch PHNE_35351 and IPSec

This HP-UX cumulative ARPA Transport patch, PHNE_35351, will

remove TOUR and then install.

This system has IPSec version

A.02.00 already installed. You must either 1) install IPSec

(J4256AA) version A.02.01.01 or greater at the same time, or

2) first remove IPSec. IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE IPSec unless

you no longer want IPSec and need this patch.

Combine the IPSec A.02.01.01 depot in the installation bundle as specified in Installing

Transition Patches on HP-UX 11i v1, or removing IPSec A.02.00 before installing the

transition patches. Refer to the IPSec documentation at

http://docs.hp.com/en/internet.html#IPSec for details on migrating to IPSec A.02.01.01

Transport Transition Patch PHNE_35351 and TOUR - MobileIPv6

This HP-UX cumulative ARPA Transport patch, PHNE_35351, will

remove TOUR and then install. This system has MobileIPv6

version A.01.00.01 already installed. You must either 1)

install MobileIPv6 version A.01.00.02 or greater at the same

time, or 2) first remove MobileIPv6. IMPORTANT: DO NOT REMOVE

MobileIPv6 unless you no longer want MobileIPv6 and need this

patch.

PHNE_35351 will remove the TOUR from your HP-UX 11i v1 system. If you want to retain

the HP-UX Mobile IPv6 component of TOUR, combine the IPv6NCF11i depot in the

installation bundle as specified in “Installing the Transition Patches on HP-UX 11i v1” on

page 23.
