Installing the Transition Patches

If your HP-UX 11i v1 system has version HP-UX IPSec A.01.01 -
A.01.05, and you want to continue using your existing HP-UX IPSec
configuration data, you must install intermediate versions of HP-UX
IPSec and migrate your IPSec configuration data before installing
IPSec A.02.01.01 and the Transport transition patch. Refer to the
HP-UX IPSec A.02.01.01 release notes at
http://docs.hp.com/en/internet.html#IPSec for more information.
Installing the Transition Patches on HP-UX 11i v1
The Transport transition patch will clean TOUR from your system. If you have TOUR
installed on your system, consider the following:
If you require the IPv6, PPPoE/PPPv6, and Router Advertisement Daemon
functionalities: Obtain the IPv6NCF11i bundle along with the transition patches. See
Steps 5 and 6 in “Downloading the Transition Patches and Dependencies” on page 21 to
obtain them.
If you do not require the IPv6, PPPoE/PPPv6, and Router Advertisement
Daemon functionalities: Remove TOUR from the system before installing the
transition patches.
If you do not have TOUR installed on your system, install the IPV6NCF11i bundle along with
the transition patches if you require the IPv6, PPPoE/PPPv6, and Router Advertisement
Daemon functionalities.
Perform the following steps to install the transition patches on your HP-UX 11i v1 system:
Step 1. Verify that you have correctly downloaded the transition patches, their
dependencies, and other functionality that you require. See “Downloading the
Transition Patches and Dependencies” on page 21 for details.
Step 2. swcopy the following into a single installation bundle called COMBO.depot:

IPV6NCF11i bundle: if you downloaded it
IPSec A.02.01.01: if you downloaded it
