Step 3. Include the June 2005 Quality Pack GOLDQPK11i B.11.11.0506.4 (or later) for
HP-UX 11i v1.
Step 4. If you want to realize the NOSYNC performance gain, and use DLPI and IPFilter,
download the following:
IPFilter A.03.05.14 (or later) from http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot
DLPI PHNE_33704 (or later) for HP-UX 11i v1, or
DLPI PHNE_33429 (or later) for HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004
Step 5. If you require any of the IPv6NCF11i components (IPv6 enablement,
PPPoE/PPPv6, Router Advertisement Daemon, and HP-UX Mobile IPv6) on HP-UX
11i v1, download the IPv6NCF11i bundle from http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot.
IMPORTANT If your system does not have TOUR installed, the IPv6NCF11i
bundle is required ONLY if you want to enable IPv6, or use the
PPPoE/PPPv6, Router Advertisement Daemon, and MIPv6 features.
Refer to Additional Important Information for more details.
For more information on IPv6NCF11i components, see “Features and
Enhancements in the IPv6NCF11i Bundle” on page 15.
Step 6. If you require the IPSec functionality, download IPSec A.02.01.01 from
http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot. Search for IPSec.
IMPORTANT On HP-UX 11i v1, the Transport transition patch is not compatible
with versions of HP-UX IPSec prior to A.02.01.01. If you have a
previous version of HP-UX IPSec installed, you must install HP-UX
IPSec A.02.01.01 either prior to installing the Transport transition
patch, or at the same time that you install the Transport transition
patch.
