Creating and Using Directory Map Objects

You can type in the path, or you can choose the browser button to the right of the

“Path” ﬁeld to browse for the directory to which the Directory Map object will

point.

If the Directory Map Object will point to the root of the speciﬁed Volume, leave

the “Path” ﬁeld blank.

9 (Optional) To define additional properties immediately after creating the

Directory Map object, choose “Define Additional Properties.”

10 (Optional) To create another Directory Map object immediately after this one,

choose “Create Another Directory Map.”

11 Choose “Create.”

The Directory Map object is created.

If you chose “Create Another Directory Map,” the Create dialog box appears.

If you chose “Deﬁne Additional Properties,” the identiﬁcation screen appears.

Creating a Directory Map Object Using NETADMIN

Prerequisites

• A workstation running DOS 3.30 or later and NETADMIN

• A minimum of 512 KB of memory available on the workstation

• The Create object right in the container where the Directory Map object will be

created

Procedure

1 At the DOS prompt, type

NETADMIN <Enter>
