Faulty cable or
connection.
• Verify the cable and replace
it if defective.
• Verify that the FDDI cable
is properly connected at
both ends.
• Verify that the SC
transmit/receive ports are
cross-connected.
• You may want to try
switching the individual
transmit/receive fibers.
