PCI FDDI Adapter Installion Overview

This section is a brief summary of the installation and conﬁguration

procedures that follow:

IMPORTANT This adapter is not customer-installable in V-Class or Superdome

servers. All PCI controllers for V-Class and Superdome servers must be

installed by qualiﬁed HP Engineers.

HP recommends that these systems only be opened by a qualiﬁed HP

engineer. Failure to observe this requirement can invalidate any support

agreement or warranty to which the owner might otherwise be entitled.

3. Install the Adapter

4. Verify Adapter Installation

5. Connect the Adapter to the Network

6. Conﬁgure and Verify the Adapter to the Network Connection

7. Conﬁgure the Adapter and Verify Network Connectivity
